Leon Majceni has tipped GSMArena about Samsung Galaxy S 4 Active (GT-i9295) another variant of Samsung Galaxy S 4 smartphone that is water and dust resistant just like Sony’s Xperia Z. Samsung will probably release two variants of Galaxy S 4, known as Galaxy S 4 Active that is water and dust resistant whereas the other one would be Galaxy S 4 Zoom that will offer 16 Megapixels of camera with optical zoom. Samsung is trying to deliver the best smartphones according to the emerging needs of its smartphone users. According to a statistical report, Samsung is leading Android’s market share with 30.8%.
Galaxy S 4 Active will offer a quad-core 1.9GHz processor with Adreno 320 GPU for HD gaming, which hints towards Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 600 chipset. Galaxy S 4 active will have a 8 mega pixels camera unlike traditional Galaxy S 4’s 13MP snapper. The screen size will be 5.0-inches with a full HD resolution of (1920 x 1080). Super AMOLED display would be there for sure, and the pixel density of screen seems to be 448 ppi according to the following image. There wouldn’t be touch sensitive keys at the bottom, rather Galaxy S 4 Active will have hardware options, menu and back keys. The back cover will be metallic.
